I just read this, too! It made me drop a marshmallow in my fire pit cause I wasn’t paying attention! Seems pretty stupid that McNabb and Campbell would be competing. Maybe Shanny knows something we don’t.

Maybe McNabb will be the mentor Campbell needs? Or Colt? Or Rex? Or…? What the hey?!

I just realized that maybe McShanny is going for an all Scotch-Irish QB roster with McNabb and McCampbell. Yeah that’s gotta be it.

Went to the Iggles website and 90% are not happy and want Reid and the entire Eagles FO traded.
The joke going round on the cowpukes site is the reuniting of T.O. and McStupid.
I guess it could have been worse we could have ended up with Nomo Romo.

Think about this: McNabb throwing to Moss, Thomas/Kelly, and the 2 Tight End set of Cooley and Davis – I gotta say, it could be good. A 2 WR 2 TE set with McNabb throwing instead of Jason Campbell…I like the possibilities of that.

And to reiterate – JC will get traded. If we can get a 3rd or better for him I’ll be happy. A 2nd would be great…someone get the Raiders on the phone!

As for Philly – we’ve said it on the podcast: They don’t deserve what they’ve had with McNabb. They booed Mike Schmidt! They booed Santa Claus!!!

Wow what a thing to wake up to….what the hell!!….well i guess there must be some kinda plan even if this makes NO sense at all…… Guess this means so long Campbell, cant see McNabb settling for second string…….and as much as i want to beleive they will go for a LT with the 4th pick….i have this sickening feeling they will try grab a QB …….hope im wrong but…..I called it …..lol

yeah, this makes me feel pretty bitter like redqueen said I’ve hated this guy for years and said he sucks and all of that and now we gotta put this guy over? man, I’ll feel like a total hypocrite doing that. Plus the fact that we gave up our 2nd rd pick for someone whose best years are behind him? -watch the Eagles use that pick to draft someone good who will play for their team for the next ten years. I dunno about this one guys, it’s sure gonna be hard to get used to. Maybe I’ll treat him like a red-headed step child and deny him credit for anything good he does and scold the crap out of him when he overthrows Santana or throws a perfect pass to the other team’s defensive back. He just better not screw up!

well, the last Philly to ‘Skins trade turned out pretty well….. guess we’ll have to see how this works out.

I guess time will tell if he will make a positive impact or not..I get the feeling its gonna be another shot at trying to make the playoff’s sooner rather than starting a period of rebuilding and setting up for the future, what with all the aging pick ups they are going for….thing is McNabb may just be a very good QB dispite being an ex eagle but it wont matter a damn if he is operating behind the technically challenged misfits we have maskerading as an OLine. Just hope he does the business,
