Hail, LaVar. Portis can Suck it.

If you haven’t heard, LaVar Arrington had a LOT to say in response to Clinton Portis’ NFL Network remarks after the Superbowl about LaVar leaving the Redskins for only money.  (SHUT UP, CLINTON! CUT!!!!!!)  This is the same Portis who admitted he asked coaches to bench Mike Sellers.  In my humble opinion, this rebuttal that LaVar is long overdue.  It is great to hear LaVar offer advice for new generations of Redskins Fans and Players alike … because LaVar is BOTH!  He puts the smack down on CP for more than 15 solid uninterrupted minutes, but in a passionate and classy way.

Speak it like it IS, LaVar!  We got your back!!!!  Hail!  Definitely worth a listen.  Perhaps Portis can put it on his iPod and listen in the UHaul on the way out of D.C.

During mist of Lavars rant I was like…what? But if you listen to the entire thing, ignoring the numerous times he says let me be clear, because he’s not, he’s got some good points. Especially about the concussion slackness of Portis and how when Portis acts like an idiot he disrespects all those players that have come before him and paved the way for him to make so much money. It’s worth a listen if you have time to muddle through.

It was originally on 106.7 in D.C. It’s being talked about nationally now, too, on ESPN. I heard and saw Jim Rome talk about it and he pretty much agreed that Clinton started it, and LaVar finished it. With Authority.
